Product Overview
The BXG-12 solid-insulated switchgear is highlighted in the "First Batch of Key Promoted New Technologies Catalogue" by State Grid Corporation of China, which notes that "from the perspective of increasingly stringent trends in both technical reliability and environmental protection, solid-insulated switchgear is poised to completely replace SF6-gas insulated switchgear. The TLSIS-12 solid-insulated switchgear can serve as a direct replacement for various SF6-gas insulated switchgear models, including KYN28-12 medium-voltage switchgear and air-insulated ring main units."
The BXG-12 solid-insulated switchgear features miniaturization, modularity, intelligent functionality, and all-solid insulation. Its main module is equipped with a zinc-plated conductive layer on the surface, ensuring continuous grounding. The product is designed to operate reliably even in challenging environments, meeting the requirements of China's national power industry standard DL/T 1586-2016, "Solid Insulated Metal-Enclosed Switchgear and Control Equipment."
The BXG-12 solid-insulated switchgear features an insulating structure in which the high-voltage components of the main circuit are completely encapsulated and sealed within a solid dielectric medium. A conductive layer is applied as a coating on the outer surface of the insulation structure. After complete assembly, the switchgear and control equipment—enclosed within a grounded metal enclosure—are also electrically connected to ground via the enclosure itself.
The BXG-12 solid-insulated switchgear features a metal-enclosed design, delivering customers a product that is highly reliable, cost-effective, user-friendly, and exceptionally safe. It is ideally suited for 6–12 kV three-phase AC 50Hz power systems—applications include ring main units, small-capacity distribution substations, dual-radiation power supply systems, and primary distribution networks powered by cable feeders. Compared to traditional SF6 ring main units, this next-generation switchgear offers enhanced reliability, greater environmental friendliness, and a broader range of applications. Additionally, the automated intelligent terminal devices integrated into the solid-insulated ring main switchgear enable real-time monitoring and remote control, paving the way for smarter, more reliable, stable, and flexible distribution networks.
