Product Overview
The JP series outdoor integrated distribution box combines multiple functions—such as metering, outgoing circuits, and reactive power compensation—into a single, compact outdoor-ready device. It features advanced protection capabilities against short circuits, overloads, overvoltage, and leakage currents. With its small footprint, sleek design, and cost-effectiveness, this innovative product is ideally suited for installation on utility poles alongside outdoor-mounted transformers. It represents the next-generation ideal solution for upgrading power grids in both urban and rural areas.
Environmental operating conditions
● Ambient temperature: -25°C to +40°C.
● Relative air humidity: The daily average should not exceed 90%, and the monthly average should also remain below 90%.
● Altitude: Not exceeding 2500 m.
● Install in locations free from severe vibrations, shocks, and corrosive gases.
Structural Features
The enclosure structure comes in two types: upright and horizontal. The outer shell is crafted from 2mm-thick, high-quality stainless steel sheets, precisely bent using a multi-step edging process (or alternatively, a honeycomb-structured, stainless steel double-layer composite panel that offers flame-retardant, eco-friendly insulation, and anti-condensation properties). The enclosure is assembled using a specialized stainless steel welding technique, ensuring exceptional overall strength once formed, with a mirror-smooth, flawless surface free of any weld marks. Inside, the mounting beams (or panels) are treated with a hot-dip galvanizing process, guaranteeing corrosion resistance for at least 20 years. The enclosure features front and rear hinged doors for easy user access and maintenance. Each door is fitted with a highly elastic, age-resistant sealing strip around its perimeter, providing superior weatherproofing and protection against contaminants. Additionally, every door is equipped with both visible and concealed locking mechanisms; the visible lock includes an integrated rain shield designed to prevent blockages and rust buildup. The metering chamber is fully enclosed and secured with a lead-sealing mechanism. On the side of the enclosure, there’s a cable entry system featuring weatherproof, debris-resistant conduits, while the base incorporates strategically placed ventilation holes along with dedicated cable exit ports. At the top, a built-in ventilation channel paired with a fine-mesh screen ensures optimal airflow while effectively blocking dust, moisture, and foreign objects. Overall, the enclosure meets the stringent IP54 protection rating, offering robust defense against water splashes, dust, and external contaminants.
