Product Overview
The XGN68-12 indoor AC metal-clad switchgear (commonly referred to as a switch cabinet) is a new type of compact indoor power distribution and supply equipment jointly developed and manufactured by our company and the China Electric Power Research Institute.
The XGN68-12 switchgear features the VBD-12 series integrated isolation, vacuum, and grounding vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber with epoxy resin solid-sealing technology, offering a sleek appearance, excellent insulation performance, and user-friendly operation. Inside the cabinet, a rotating fuse design enables easy, pull-out replacement of fuses—making maintenance exceptionally convenient. With its compact dimensions, the XGN68-12 switchgear boasts the smallest footprint among air-insulated cabinets, making it an eco-friendly choice perfectly suited for urban users and residential communities. Its minimal space requirement ensures efficient use of available area, making the XGN68-12 the ideal solution for modern power distribution needs.
Normal operating conditions
The ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40°C, nor fall below -25°C.
Relative humidity should not exceed 95% on average daily, and no more than 90% on a monthly average.
Air is clean, free of corrosive or flammable gases, and free from obvious contaminants such as water vapor.
No severe contamination or frequent, intense vibrations—when installed vertically, the tilt angle should not exceed 5 degrees.
Altitude does not exceed 2000 meters.
When used under environmental conditions beyond the specified norms, it shall be agreed upon by the user and the manufacturer.
Main specifications
The XGN68-12 series products are categorized into load switch cabinets, circuit breaker cabinets, and load switch-fuse combination switchgear cabinets, based on the type of primary switching equipment installed. They are further divided into two operation modes according to the mechanism used: manual spring-operated energy storage and electric operation.
Ordering Instructions (Please specify when placing your order)
1. Main circuit scheme number, purpose, single-line system diagram, arrangement drawing, and distribution room layout plan, etc.
2. Schematic diagram of the auxiliary circuit wiring and terminal arrangement diagram.
3. Model, specifications, and quantity of electrical components within the switchgear.
4. Requirements for control, measurement, and protection functions of switching equipment, as well as requirements for other interlocking and automatic devices.
5. If bus bridges are required to connect switchgear units or incoming feeder cabinets, please provide specific data such as the rated current-carrying capacity of the bus bridge, its span length, and the height from the ground.
6. When attachments or spare parts are needed, please specify the type and quantity required.
7. If switchgear is to be used in special environmental conditions, please provide detailed specifications when placing your order.
